The adidas Yeezy 500 has been noticeably absent adidas a from the adidas Yeezy line's recent deluge of releases, but it's set to come back in a major way this August with a new "Bone White" colorway. The first Yeezy 500 to release since November 2018's "Salt," the "Bone White" pushes the silhouette's style in a new direction, breaking away from the tonal look of past models in favor of a light grey upper, white adiPRENE midsole, and gum outsole. The new colorway isn't the only first though, as this light-colored pair of adidas shoes will also serve as the inaugural 500 to release in full family sizes. With a design similar to the YEEZY Boost 700, it seems like the globally popular Yeezy line is headed in a much chunkier direction than we've seen in the past. We're still waiting on more colorways of the Yeezy Boost 700 to drop, and according to Yeezy Mafia, the adidas Yeezy 500 drop is anticipated for Spring 2018 with tonal adidas ultra boost grey colorway being a potential debut release. With his controversial recent appearance on Saturday Night Live, his forthcoming "Yandhi" album, and the recent releases of his Yeezy Boost 700 "Wave Runner" and Yeezy 350 Boost V2 "Triple White" the latter of which was accompanied by a massive print advertising campaign the grandiose, omnipotent artist has dominated headlines, and is looking to keep doing so well into the fall and beyond. A swath of upcoming adidas Yeezy releases are scheduled to hit shelves over the next few months, and one of the pairs that's set to release is this new "Salt" take on the Yeezy 500. Calling upon the same tonal aesthetic as past 500 releases, the "Salt" utilizes a light grey hue that covers the upper's mix of adidas nmd leather and suede, while an ever-so-slight contrast is provided by the grey suede overlays and eyelets. The retro-styled "Feet You Wear" outsole with adiprene cushioning returns as well to complete the look. Expect the new 500s to drop this November, and if you don't feel like waiting, pairs are available at now. Featuring the tonal look that's become synonymous with the silhouette, the "Salt" dresses everything from the upper to the podular midsole and outsole in a light grey that lets the interesting layered design do most of the talking. With suede and leather panels sitting on top of a sporty mesh base, the "Salt" gives off a high-end look but one with an undeniably sporty flair, as the breezy base and aggressive midsole design are both reminiscent of classic Three Stripes basketball shoes. Opening up the month of November with quite a few impactful releases, adidas Yeezy seems to have no plans of slowing down one bit as we arrive closer to the culmination of the holiday season. With last month mostly dominated by the 350 and 700, the next sees to two iterations of the non-Boost donning 500 silhouette with its "Soft Vision" colorway being the first to officially debut. Often composed of quiet earth tones, the latest is more so an evolution of "Blush" as it dials up saturation tenfold. Open knit mesh, sturdy suedes, and even the midsole all align in the singular tone, fixing overlays and lace lockdowns atop in compliment. Only the tread itself diverges slightly as it opts for an alluring gum bottom. Appropriately given an "Ultraviolet" monicker, its upper comes fully dressed up in purple while its outsole ushers in the always-appreciated yeezy adidas gum aesthetic. No other release information has been reported as of now, but it is expected to drop as part of Kanye's Season 7 collection.
